The Centre for Health law, Ethics and Technology (CHLET) at Jindal Global Law School undertakes research on issues related to healthcare from a developing world perspective on social justice. CHLET adopts a multidisciplinary approach and focuses particularly on access to drugs, health and sexuality, sexual minority rights, reproductive rights, realization of a constitutional right to health, implication of advancement in technology on access to healthcare, and anti-discrimination law and policy relating to contagious diseases in India and abroad.
CHLET is looking for a Research Fellow / Visiting Researcher that will work closely with the Executive Director on research projects relating to health and sexuality, approached from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The position is for 6 months and is renewable upon good performance for an additional six months. Accommodation and food will also be provided on campus. The Fellow will also have a shared office space and access to Library facilities. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Research and writing assistance on ongoing projects.
Teaching classes to law students. Actively engage in seminars and workshops organized by the Centre. Collaborate on Centre projects.
Manage project timelines.
Support the Executive Director as needed.
Degree in Law or Masters in Public Health, Human Rights or Public Policy.
Demonstrated interest in public law, public interest work, health law, human rights and sexuality studies.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-centric environment with changing priorities.
